What is VISiYES (Leonardo da Vinci project)?

Virtual and Integrated Support for innovative Young Entrepreneurs & Start-ups

 

VISiYES constructs a comprehensive set of ‘blended-learning’ business support tools applying the ease of use of the Internet to help young entrepreneurs and micro enterprises to identify gaps in their business knowledge addressed these with a 'development plan' that is both relevant and achievable.

VISiYES will deliver an innovative curriculum for the informal, formal & accredited Entrepreneurship education, tailored to e-tutoring, implementing for the first time Negotiated Work-Based Learning methodology within a trans-European comprehensive virtual & integrated blended e-learning environment.

VISiYES main activities

  1. Build a Info-space for entrepreneurs to manage skills, business planning & innovation management, managing intellectual capital, (international) networking & clustering based on the open source platform and related software components for the purpose of knowledge management, content management and online communication & networking

  2. Link entrepreneurs to tutors & business advisors who will guide them to acquire new skills and knowledge

  3. Publish best content for entrepreneurs for working with high-growth, innovation-led and micro-enterprises.

  4. Extend and popularize the Info-space reflecting the country-specific and cultural diversity

  5. Pilot and testing five different models (NLD, AUT, ESP, UK and other EU states) of Negotiated Work-Based Learning methodology and the support of a variety of learning & business environments in transnational dimension and extended to (sectoral)clusters of young entrepreneurs, delivering staff development for the innovation professionals (“e-tutors”).

  6. Deliver NWBL-formatted e-Learning curricula for innovative entrepreneurship education, ready for accreditation

  7. Promote social dialogue amongst participants, learning, business and innovation support networks to determine the needs of entrepreneurs and catalyse innovation.

  8. Active networking collaboration at national and European level to share information and good practice and participate in events (conferences, trade-fairs, seminars) of e-learning for entrepreneurs, innovation and networking.
